Kirsty & Tom's Gillfest

What a manic couple of months August and September have been! I finally feel like now is the time to sit down, relax and reflect on all of the hard work and reap the rewards from seeing the beautiful pictures of the weddings i have done along with the thank you letters I have received for the flowers I have created.

Kirsty and Tom helf their festical themed Gillfest at the lovely Yoghurt Rooms barn. The amount of detail that went into the planning and theming of the day was great to see and watch. From the fab festival stage table plan created to incorporate the actual barn they got married in, to the tipi's in the distance lined up ready for guests, the big red bus which squeezed its way through the narrow road leading to the venue, the bouncy castle, ice cream van and the selection of bands they had playing into the wee hours.. they really knew how to throw a party to remember.

I could not have been more pleased to have been asked to do the flowers because it enabled me to use a selection of beautiful pastel coloured flower and some interesting vases such as wellies and watering cans in true festival fashion!
